Using This Wiki
So, what's a wiki? Watch this video to find out!
Using This Class Wiki
During the semester, there will be times when you will need to contribute information to this wiki. In order to do this, you must create a Wet Paint account and join this wiki. In the upper right hand corner of this site, you will see a yellow button that says "Join This Wiki." Click it and follow the instructions to create your account, and become part of our on-line classroom. You can use your first name in your user name, but don not use your last name. In class, I would appreciate it if you told me your user name, so that I am aware who is making the contributions under that name (those contributions will lead to a better mark in this class).
When an assignment calls for you to add information to this wiki, make sure you are logged in, and then click the Easy Edit button (the one with the pencil) before you start adding. When you are done, click save.
If you want to link words to another website, highlight the text, click the "link" button in the Easy Edit Tool bar, and then add the web URL into the blank box for the page you wish to link to.
If you would like to embed content such as a You Tube video, click the "Widget" button, and follow the instructions for the content you are embedding.
Please, feel free to contribute to this site. This site is meant to be a place for collaboration, not just a resource. Don't feel timid to
ask a question
, or add some resources that you've found useful.
If you have any concerns about the use of this wiki, or if you are concerned about having access to a computer to make contributions, please discuss it with me in class, or follow the "ask a question" link above to voice your concerns. I want this wiki to be about collaborating, not singling any students out.
